6022 聚乙烯醇树脂( PVA )
POLYVINYL ALCOHOL

一、产品性能

聚乙烯醇树脂系列产品系白色固体,外型分絮状、颗粒状、粉状三种;无毒无味、无污染,可在 80-- 90 ℃ 水中溶解。其水溶液有很好的粘接性和成膜性;能耐油类、润滑剂和烃类等大多数有机溶剂;具有长链多元醇酯化、醚化、缩醛化等化学性质。

二、产品用途

主要用于纺织行业经纱浆料、织物整理剂、维尼纶纤维原料;建筑装潢行业 107 胶、内外墙涂料、粘合剂;化工行业用作聚合乳化剂、分散剂及聚乙烯醇缩甲醛、缩乙醛、缩丁醛树脂;造纸行业用作纸品粘合剂;农业方面用于土壤改良剂、农药粘附增效剂和聚乙烯醇薄膜;还可用于日用化妆品及高频淬火剂等方面。

三、使用方法

聚乙烯醇树脂系列产品均可以在 95 ℃ 以下的热水中溶解,但由于聚合度、醇解度高低的不同,醇解方式等不同在溶解时间、温度上有一定的差异,因此在使用不同品牌聚乙烯醇树脂时,溶解方法和时间需要进行摸索。溶解时,可边搅拌边将本品缓缓加入 20 ℃ 左右的冷水中充分溶胀、分散和挥发性物资的逸出(切勿在 40 ℃ 以上的水中加入该产品直接进行溶解,以避免出现包状和皮溶内生现象),而后升温到 95 ℃ 左右加速溶解,并保温 2 ~ 2.5 小时,直到溶液不再含有微小颗粒,再经过 28 目不锈钢过滤杂质后,即可备用。

1 、搅拌速度 70 ~ 100 转/分,升温时,可采用夹套、水浴等间接加热方式,也可采用水蒸汽直接加热;但是,不可用明火直接加热,以免局部过热而分解,若没有搅拌机,可用蒸汽以切线方向吹入的方法,进行溶解。

2 、聚乙烯醇树脂系列产品水溶液浓度一般在 12 ~ 14 %以下;低醇解度聚乙烯醇树脂产品水溶液浓度一般可在 20 %左右。

3 、检验本品是否完全溶解的方法:取出少量溶液,加入 1 ~ 2 滴碘液,如 果出现蓝色团粒状透明体,说明尚未完全溶解,如色泽能均匀扩散,说明已完全溶解。

4 、溶液的贮存: 防腐:若长期存放,水溶液中的水会腐败,但不影响本品的性能,此时应添加 0.01 - 0.05 %(以 PVA 为基准)的甲醛、水杨酸或其它防腐剂。防锈:用铁器存放时,应添加微量弱碱,用铜器时应添加 0.02-0.05 %(以 PVA 为基准)的亚硝酸钠,最好采用不锈钢、塑料容器。

5 、消泡剂添加:在配制水溶液时,本品不易起泡,但在溶液浓度高,转速快时,也会产生少量泡沫,为抑制泡沫,可添加消泡剂: 0.01-0.05 % ( 以 PVA 为基准 ) 的辛醇、磷酸三丁酯或 0.2 - 0.5 % ( 以 PVA 为基准 ) 的有机硅乳液。

四、包装

聚丙烯复膜编织袋。

五、储运

储存于通风、阴凉干燥处,远离火源。运输中应轻拿轻放,防止损坏包装。

四、产品性质:
1 .易溶于水,随着水温升高,溶解度增加。
2 .与其他水溶性高分子聚合物相比,粘度较低。要增加粘度可加适量硼酸,硼砂等无机盐,但加入过鼍则产生凝胶。
3 .吸湿性:与其他水溶性高分子物相比,其吸湿性较低。
4 .成膜性:成膜性好,张力、拉力、摩擦强度等物理性能比其他合成树脂要好。
5 .耐药品性:几乎不受弱酸、弱碱,有机溶剂的影响,耐油性好。
6 .耐热性:受热要分解,温度约 220 ℃ 。
7 .透气性:皮膜可透过水蒸汽,但不透过氧气、氮气、二氧化碳气体。
8 .贮存稳定性:长期贮存不发生霉变。

五、主要用途:
1 .纺织浆料一一因该产品水溶性好,所以配浆很方便,上浆以后浆料和纤维抱合力强,织物在加工过程中纤维因此不容易断丝,提高了工效和正品率,另外退浆容易操作方便。
2 .乳化稳定剂一一可用于醋酸乙烯乳液的乳化稳定剂或氯乙烯单体悬浮聚合的分散剂。
3 .铸造行业一一用聚乙烯醇树脂 17-88 水溶液添加在铸造砂土中制成模型,在室温下自然干燥,干燥以后的模具,能达到铸造过程浇注铁水的强度,用这种工艺可节省成本,提高产品质量和工效。
4 .农药用一一可作农药包衣和悬胶剂用聚乙烯醇树脂 17-88 与农药一起配成水溶液,喷酒在果树上利用其粘接性能,将农药粘附在果树上,保持和提高农药的有效期。另外也可以与农药一起做成颗粒,放在害虫经常出现的地方,利用聚乙烯醇树脂 l7-88 的吸湿性慢慢释放农药物,达到长效的目的。
5 .用于制版一一无线电行业上印刷电路,印刷行业制版以及量具工厂的光刻制版。将聚乙烯醇树脂 l 7-88 水溶液与感光胶一起混合使用。
6 .其他行业:用聚乙烯醇树脂 17-88 做文具胶水是一种理想的原料。做出的胶水具有粘接性能好,无色透明。用聚乙烯醇树脂 17-88 涂在邮票、标签的背面用作再湿胶。

六、溶解方法:
   在室温下 70 ~ 100 转 / 分的搅拌下缓慢加料,加料后充分搅拌 15 分钟左右,使结块完全分散后再加温到 90 ℃ ,约 30 ~ 60 分钟即可完全溶解。溶解时的最高浓度为 20 %左右,如在溶解过程中产生泡沫,可加有机硅油等消泡剂。添加量为 PVA 的 0.0l ~ 0.05 %。水溶液的贮存最好用搪磁或不锈钢容器贮存。为了防止霉变,可加少量福尔马林。如要提高水溶液粘度可添加淀粉。藻朊酸钾、甲基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素等高分子化合物。

七、贮存保管:
   本产品必须贮放在干燥的地方,避免与热源或明火直接接触。

八、包装:
   本产品用聚丙烯编织袋,内衬塑料袋包装。每袋重 20 千克 。

4 . Properties :
(1)Easy soluble in water. Solubility increases as water temperature goes up .
(2)Lower viscosity compared with other water soluble high polymer . For the purpose of increasing viscosity, add proper amount of boric acid or borax to PVA aqueous solution. But don ′ t add excess amount to prevent from gelling .
(3)Hydroscopicity: Lower hydroscopicity compared with the same kind of product .
(4)Film-forming properties : Excellent properties for film-forming. Better physics properties including adhesion, tensile force and abrasion resistance than other synthetic resins .
(5)Oil/solvent resistance : Almost unaffected by weak acid . weak bases and organic sol-vents . Good oil resistance .
(6)Thermo stability : Decomposes when heated to about 22 0 ℃ .
(7)Permeability to gases : The film of PVA hardly allows permeation of glass . 1ike oxy-gen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide , except water vapor .
(8)Storage stability : Can be stored for a long period of time without any mold of deterioration .

5 . Main uses :
(1)Textile warp sizing :
   Due to good water solubility . it is easy t0 be prepared and has good adhesion to yarns as well . Fibers can be bonded tightly so that it hardly breaks during Faber processing , and hence , the work efficiency and ratio of certified product enhanced . It has advantages of easy desizing and simple desizing process .

(2)Emulsion stabilizer :
   Can be used as stabilizer in the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate or dispersing agent in suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer .

(3)Casting industry :
   Mix 17-88 solution with casting sand to make mould . After drying at room temperature , the mould will have enough strength to stand casting . This process leads to lower cost, better product quality and higher work efficiency .

(4)Pesticide :
   Used as pesticide coating and suspension agent . Mixed with pesticide into solution and sprayed to fruit trees . The pesticide will stick to the trees by adhesion of PVA 1 7-88 , so that to keep and extend effective period of the pesticide . It can also be processed with pesticide into granules . Put the granules at the place where destructive insects often appear and then it will release the pesticide gradually due to hydroscopicity of this product, getting exten ding effect .

(5)Plate making :
   For printed circuit in radio industry, plate making in printing industry and photetch plate in measuring tool manufacture . Mix PVA 17-88 aqueous solution with light sensitive glue when using .

(6)Miscellaneous :
   PVA 17-88 is ideal raw material for stationery glue . This kind of glue is transparent and has good adhesion . It can also be coated , as remoistenable adhesives , at the back of stamps and labels .

6 . Dissolving procedure :
   Slowly add the product with 70-100 rpm agitation at room temperature . Then fully agitate for 15 minutes . When lumps fully dispersed , increase temperature up to 9 0 ℃ . it can completely dissolve within 3 0 ~ 60 minutes . The maximum concentration is about 20 % during dissolving . If foam is created when dissolving , defoamer like organic silicone oil can be added at an amount Of 0.01 ~ 0.05 % 0f PVA .
   Containers made of enamel or stainless steel are preferable for PVA solution storage . Proper amount of formalin can be added to prevent from moulding. if higher viscosity of the solution is expected , add some starch and high polymeric compounds , such as methyl cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose .

7 . Storage :
   Must be stored at dry place . Avoid contact directly with heat source or fire .

8 . Package :
   Packed in polypropylene woven bag with plastic lining . Each weights 20 kilograms .

   该产品是一种水溶性高分子化合物,有很好的成膜性能和纺丝性能,主要用作维尼纶原料,也可用作经纱浆料、织物整理剂、粘接剂、乳化剂、聚乙烯醇缩醛物、薄膜等。

二.一般性质:
1 .外观:白色或微黄色片状、颗粒状固体。
2 .填充比重: 0.4 ~ 0.5g /ml 。
3 .水溶性:聚乙烯醇 17-99 是水溶性树脂,其溶解度随着水温的升高而增高,在冷水中仅溶胀,能完全溶解在热水中,其水溶液具有良好的成膜性和粘接性。
4 .耐化学药品性:本品几乎不受弱酸、弱碱或有机溶剂的影响,耐油性极高。
5 .热稳定性:
   本品受热时软化, 4 0 ℃ 以下没有显著变化, 16 0 ℃ 以上长时间加热会渐渐着色,到 22 0 ℃ 以上开始分解,生成水、乙酸、乙醛和乙烯醛等。
6 .贮存稳定性:
  本品贮存稳定性良好,长期贮存不发霉、不变质。

三.主要用途:
1 .维尼纶原料:
   聚乙烯醇 17 -99F 经过溶解、纺丝,然后经缩甲醛化处理而制得的纤维称维尼纶纤维,它可与棉、毛、粘胶纤维等混纺制成维尼纶纺织品,广泛用于衣着,也可用于蓬布、帘子线、鱼网绳索等工业。

2 .经纱浆料:
   以聚乙烯醇为主调制的浆料,对棉、麻、涤纶、维纶、粘胶纤维具有良好的粘着性,成膜后光洁滑爽、既坚固又耐磨,具有韧性,可降低布机断头率,浆纱和布面的落物很少,由于上浆量小,织成的布手感挺括、光润细腻,布面不粗糙,并能增加卷绕匹数。

3 .织物整理剂:
   本品可作为纺织整理助剂,常与尿素、甲醛混用。当织物进行高温烘焙时,两者发生化学反应,使该树脂更富柔韧性,从而提高加工织物的挺括性和弹性。而织物的硬实挺括程度可通过聚乙烯醇的量来调节。

4 .纸加工剂:
   本品粘合力大,成膜性好,皮膜强韧。若本品代替淀粉、干酪素或者与之并用,作为涂布纸的颜料载色剂或作为胶剂对铜版纸、耐油纸、晒图原纸、牛皮纸等进行表面施胶,可提高纸张的耐磨、耐折、耐撕裂强度,提高光泽性、平滑性、印刷适应性。

5 .聚乙烯醇缩醛物:
   本品与甲醛、乙醛、丁醛或其它醛类在酸催化剂存在下,生成缩醛化聚乙烯醇,进一步改善了聚乙烯醇的耐水性、粘接性。缩甲醛化物广泛应用在内墙涂料、建筑粘合剂 (107 胶 ) 、海绵等方面。缩丁醛化物对玻璃、金属、皮革具有较好的粘合力,可用在涂料、瓷用花纸、铝箔、敷铜板、安全玻璃等方面。

6 。纸用粘合剂:
   本品的水溶液可代替淀粉、水玻璃或并用,常用于印刷装订,纸箱、纸绳、纸管、纸盒等的粘合。为降低成本,本品常以廉价的无机物作填充剂,如粘土 ( 膨润土、瓷土 ) 、氧化铝及氧化钛等,还可增加粘接强度。

7 .聚乙烯醇薄膜:
   以本品制造的薄膜,透明度好、抗拉、抗裂强度大,透湿性隔气性好,耐油、耐有机药品、不带静电,因而适用于纺织品的包装。另外可与聚乙烯、聚丙烯等复合,用作仪器包装,少量用于离型、光学等方面。

四.使用方法:
   华表牌聚乙烯醇树脂 l 7-99 使用时大部分需调制成溶液。

溶解方法:
   1 .溶解设备应为带有搅拌器的溶解釜,搅拌器的搅拌速度宜为 70-100( 转/分 ) 左右。溶解釜应为不锈钢、搪瓷或合成树脂衬里的铁制品。
   2 .溶解时,先加入定量冷水或室温水,再边搅拌边加入本品,加完后再继续搅拌 20 ~ 30 分钟以上,待本品在冷水中充分分散、膨润 ( 先使 PVA 膨润,可有效地缩短溶解时间 ) ,再逐渐升温至 95 ℃ 左右,并保温 2.5 ~ 3.0 小时,直至本品全部溶解,溶液不再含有微小颗粒,再经过滤网过滤,滤去杂质后即可备用。搅拌器必须运转到 PVA 全部溶解。
   3 .热源供应,可采用夹套,水浴等间接加热,亦可采用蒸气直接吹入,若使用蒸汽直接吹入,因有凝结水生成,可少加入 10 ~ 15 %的溶解水量。
   4 .配制溶液,浓度高、搅伴转数快,会产生少量泡沫。一般采用消泡剂为:辛醇、磷酸三丁酯、有机硅乳液等。

5 .检验本品是否完全溶解的方法:
   取出少量溶液,加入 1 ~ 2 滴碘液,如出现兰色团粒状透明体,说明尚未完全溶解,如色泽能均匀扩散,说明已完全溶解。

五.包装、贮运:
   1 .包装:用内衬塑料薄膜袋的聚丙烯编织袋包装,封口衬牛皮纸条以彩线缝口,每袋净重 20kg 。
   2 .贮存:应贮存在干燥、通风良好的室内。注意防潮,避免曝晒及雨淋。
   3 .运输:搬运中应轻拿轻放,防止将袋刮破、摔坏。
   4 .严防触及明火,如遇火灾可用任何灭火器灭火。

2 . General properties :
1)Appearance : White or cream colored slices or granules .
2)Density : 0. 4 ~ 0.5 g /ml
3)Water solubility :
   PVA 17-99 is a water-soluble resin . The dissolving rate of PVA 17-99 is highly dependent on dissolving temperatures , that is , the higher the temperature , the higher the dissolving rate . it is fully soluble in hot water, but only liable to swell and almost insoluble in cold water . And with good film-forming and adhesive properties of it ′ s water-solution .
4)Chemical stability : It is hardly influenced by weak acid , weak base or normal organic solvents , highly resistant to oil .
5)Thermostability :
   Being softened when heating, stable below 4 0 ℃ , gradually colored above 16 0 ℃ after a long time . Above 22 0 ℃ begin decompose and generate water, acetate , acetaldehyde, etc .
6)Storage stability : Good storage stability, no moulding or deterioration .

3 . Main uses
1)Vinylon raw materials :
   Polyvinyl alcohol 17 -99F can be processed into vinylon fiber through dissolving , spinning and treating by aldolactol formaldehyde . Vinylon fiber can be made into vinylon textile by mixing with cotton , wool , viscose fiber, which is widely used in many industrial fields , such as clothes , tarpaulin , curtain thread , fishnet , and rope etc .

2)Textile warp sizes :
   The warp sizes , prepared mainly with polyvinyl alcohol , have good adhesive to cot-ton , fiber of hemp , polyester fiber, viscose fiber etc . The films are smooth , solid and abrasion resistant 。 with good tenacious . It can lower the end breaking rate 。 with a little dust on warp sizes and cloths . For the smaller quantity of the warp sizes , the cloth have a soft feel and is smooth . Also the quantity is increased in a bolt of cloth .

3) Ferric processing agent :
   When used as ferric processing agent , it is often mixed with urea and formaldehyde . When heated to a high temperature , urea and formaldehyde react with each other, leading to softly tenacious while increasing the stiff and smooth properties and elasticity . The stiff and smooth degree of the cloth can be adjusted by changing the quantity of the polyvinyl alcoh01 .

4) Paper processing agent :
   With highly adhesive , good film forming and making for tenacious films properties , this product can be used together with , or instead of, starches and casein , as pigment binders for coated papers or used as surface sizes for white paper boards , oil-resistant paper printing paper, Kraft and cellophane . This can increase the wear, folding and tear resistance of the papers or paper boards , and make them more glossy , smooth , printable and resistant to oils and chemicals .

5) Polyvinyl acetal :
   This product can react through acid catalysis with formaldehyde , acetaldehyde or butadehyde into polyvinyl alcohol which can improve the water-proof, adhesion properties of polyvinyl alcoh01 . Aldolactol formaldehyde is widely used in coating , construction adhesion(107 adhesion) , sponge etc . Aldolactol butadehyde has good adhesion to glass , metal and leather, which can be used in fields of coating , aluminum foil , copper board and safe-glass etc .

6)Paper adhesive :
   It ′ s water solution can substitute natural bonding agents(starch , water glass , etc . )as adhesives in bookbinding , making paper cartons , paper ropes , paper tubes , paper boxes etc . it can be used together with cheap inorganic fillers to save money , such as clay , aluminum oxide , titanium oxide , while to increase adhesive strength .

7) Polyvinyl alcohol films :
   PVA films are highly transparent , glossy , highly tensile and of strong tearing strength ,、 and resistant to oils and organic chemicals ; have a high moisture permeability and gas-proofing property ; and are free from static charge . Therefore , they are suitable for textile packing . Additionally, it can copolymerize with polyvinyl , polypropylene , used in instrument packing or optic fields .

4 . Using method :
   As practical using , Huabiao brand polyvinyl alcohol 17-99 should be prepared into solution in most cases .

Dissolving procedures :
   1)The dissolving container should be a pot with a stirrer . The stirring speed should be 7 0 ~ 100 r/min . The pot should be iron container with lining of stainless steel . enamel or copolymer resin .
   2)When dissolving , add PVA in cold or room temperature water while stirring ; continue stirring for about 20 ~ 30 min or more . so that PVA swells and disperses sufficiently . (It can effectively save dissolving time by swelling PVA first) . Then raise the temperature to 9 5 ℃ and hold it for 2.5 ~ 3.0 hours . until it completely dissolved without tiny pellet . After removing the impurity by filtering , the solution can be used .
   3)Use steam for direct heating to raise the temperature of the solution . or use the water bath method for indirect heating in order to avoid decomposition due to local over . heating . When heating by water stream , add water 10 ~ 15 % less than usual , due to there will be water condensed in the solution .
   4)Foam may develop if the high density PVA 17-99 solution is agitated vigorously . Foaming can be controlled by adding to the solution a defoaming agent such as octanol, tributy 1 phosphate or silicon defoamer agents .
   5)Whether or not it is completely dissolved? How to judge?
   Take some solution . add I-2 drops of iodine coulombmeter into it . If there appear a blue transparent ball , it indicate the PVA 17-99 is not dissolved completely ; otherwise if the color glossy spreads evenly, it indicates it is dissolved completely .

5 . Package , transportation and storage
   1)Packing : Packed in PP woven bag with polyethylene bag lining , with 20kg net per bag .
   2)Storing : Storage room should be dry and well ventilated . Strict moisture . Proof measures should be taken .
   3)Transporting : To be handled lightly so as to prevent breaking of package .
   4)AS the product is flammable , there should absolutely be no open fires in its close vicinity . Can use any firefighting instrument to put out a fire in case of emergency .
